Saturday

  • Breakfast: apple with 1/4c. greek yogurt "dip," iced coffee.
  • Lunch:  grilled chicken nachos
  • Snack:  1/2 an apple with PB
  • Dinner:  quesadilla

To-Do:
  1. vacuum the whole house
  2. pick up the front porch area
  3. Clean the kitchen
  4. put out fall decorations
  5. Bake some bread
  6. Fake tan
  7. Paint toenails
  8. Curl hair
  9. Strength moves workout
  10. Walk/jog on the treadmill
  11. Give Max a bath 
  12. Get caught up on Laundry
  13. Take trash out for bathrooms and laundry room
  14. Start to organize the garage
  15. Organize workout gear/weights/clothes/etc

Pinterest has been inspiring me to dress cuter too!  Although I really need to start wearing heels for any of it to look cute I think, haha.  I love all the ideas on there!!

Friday!!!!!!!

Breakfast: Oatmeal

Lunch: Cauliflower fried rice/peas, yogurt, apple

Dinner: Somewhere w/Sarah. Shopping at the outlets, so excited! Need to go to the Nike outlet and puma for workout clothes/new shoes. And to banana republic. I really want to re-do my wardrobe. Pinterest has caused this.

Activity: Run tonight. I did not get up this morning. Shocking. I will do better next week. No guilt and moving on.

Thursday

  • Breakfast: bacon, coffee
  • Lunch: falaffle(sp?), cookie, 1/3 of a can of Dr. Pepper
  • Dinner: crock pot sour cream chicken enchiladas (meat made in the crock pot with sour cream sauce and put on warmed up low carb tortillas)
  • snack:  ?  I'm craving sweets now!
Yeah it is really hard to get up at 5 only a few days a week.  I've found that if I know I am getting up early (4am this month) every day of the work week it is much easier than only getting up a few days a week ....sometimes we get to sleep in for conferences, which makes it harder to wake up the next day!  

Thursday (or 9/8/11)

Breakfast: Oatmeal, 1 pumpkin cookie

Lunch: Cauliflower fried rice, yogurt, apple

Dinner: Probably subway

Activity: So apparently I need to re-do my goals because getting up at 5 voluntarily 3 times a week may not work. I'm going to give it another go tomorrow. I sure as heck didn't do it this morning. I'm going to do zumba tonight and then maybe try and fit in a run. I really like working out twice a day I just need to get into the habit of getting up and right now it's really hard for me to do that.

No idea what day it is...honestly. I know it's 9/7/2011 at least......

...and I only know that because every piece of paperwork I write all day has to be date and timed.....
  • Breakfast: blackberries, tortilla with ham and cheese, coffee
  • Snack: apple and 1/4c. greek yogurt (with splenda and vanilla--tastes like fruit dip)
  • Lunch: 1c. low carb mac and cheese (my plan was to get a grilled chicken breast in the caf at lunch, but alas, there was no official lunch today)
  • Snack: 100cal cocoa almonds
  • Dinner: cauliflower pizza!  (my fav!)
Went to bed at 8:30 last night and am considering it again tonight (if the pizza is done in time for that--it is still cooking!).  So. Tired.  But, I'm having lots of fun on my rotation--it doesn't feel like work while I am there at least.  I keep telling myself I'm going to come home a vacuum and work out, but I barely make it off of the couch!!  

Wednesday

Breakfast: Oatmeal

Snack: Apple

Lunch: Cauliflower fried rice, yogurt

Dinner: Somewhere w/Shanetha. Edit: shared a small pizza with Shanetha. I had my half w/green chiles and roma tomatoes. I also had a bloody mary.

Activity: Gym - elliptical/run, may go to cycling class. I totally slept in this morning. I had some really weird dreams last night that kept me up. Have you ever had those dreams where you almost don't believe them but you know you want them to be real and then you wake up and realize that it wasn't real and it's sort of sad? Well I had that last night and it's still on my mind all morning. I'm going to try and do two activities tonight and if not I'll just workout for an hour.

I just got home (9pm) so no workout today. I'm going to get up early and either go to the gym and run or run outside and then I'll go to Zumba tomorrow night.

Tuesday

  • Breakfast:  turkey bacon and blackberries
  • Snack: cheddar cheese, 1/2 an apple
  • Lunch: roast with mushrooms and carrots, 100cal pack of cocoa almonds
  • Snack: 1/2 an apple and PB
  • Dinner:  low carb mac and cheese, kielbasa, broccoli
Long, long day.  I'm glad it is already Tuesday.  I'm also glad I get to wear scrubs for the next couple days--that at least makes life a little easier.  

Tuesday (Already!!!)

Breakfast: Raisin, Date & Walnut oatmeal, skim milk

Lunch: Apple, yogurt, pizza, 2 pumpkin cookies

Dinner: Cauliflower fried rice w/no meat 

Dessert: 2 pumpkin cookies (or like 6 pumpkin cookies, probably should have counted)

Activity: Went and did my run this morning outside and it felt so good! I ran 4 walked 2 5 times and then ran the last 3 minutes of cool down. I am also going to try and make it to zumba tonight. I Think doing two-a-days at least 3 times a week will be my activity goal for the month of September. I haven't decided on any other goals yet. I will try and pick some out by the end of today.

Zumba was especially awesome tonight! Great music!

I'm going to bag up the cookies because I can't handle portion control. I'm going to make this my food goal for the month. I just need to learn to walk away and do something else if I don't feel full.

September Goals:
-At least 3 days of 2-a-days a week. And at least 2 other days with one activity
-Portion control!
-Try to limit processed foods to 1-2 a day if any.

Does oatmeal count as processed if it's Quaker? I'm guessing with the added sugar it would but I thought I would double check.

Labor Day

Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/honey

Lunch: Maybe schlotzkys. I've been crazing one of their sandwiches. Edit: small turkey sandwich w/no mayo and baked bbq chips

Snack: Popcorners chips (like popchips but different)


Dinner: Kashi pizza

Dessert: Pumpkin cookies w/raisins 

Activity: Yard work. I mowed and weedeated, then dug up two dead bushes and then transplanted two other bushes. I'm beat. No workout for me today. I'm starting back with the two-a-days tomorrow morning though.

Plan for the rest of the day

1. Clean kitchen/Do dishes
2. Laundry
3. Grocery shop/ Look for fall decorations
4. Reconcile checkbook
5. Change air vent filter 
6. Read
7. Go to bed by 9:30pm

Laundry is half way done. Still need to fold.I didn't make it to Wal-Mart so that is on my list tomorrow so I can buy an air filter. Pier 1 was closed so I will try and make it there some other night this week. Other than that I did get my bathrooms cleaned and the floors swept so I'm feeling pretty good about today. I'm going to go eat some Kashi pizza and make some pumpkin cookies. 









Labor Day!

  • Breakfast: almond flour pancakes with sugar free blackberry glaze, iced coffee=16.92
  • Lunch: pulled pork sandwich on a thin-bun, cucumbers, queso and chips (couldn't resist my Mom's!)
  • Dinner: whole acorn squash
You were productive today!!!!  I didn't do much--went to Mom and Dad's for lunch and dominoes, which was fun.  Sat outside some and enjoyed the AWESOME weather.  I did clean the treadmill of and do laundry!  Yay for something productive!!

Sunday - The first day of Fall

Breakfast: none
Lunch: Turkey 6" subway sandwich, handful of peanuts
Snack: Teddy grahams
Dinner: WW pizza
Dessert: Light ice cream sandwich

I'm at my parents for the night. Not sure what I'll have for dinner.

Going to try and sneak in a run when they leave for the Cundiff's party.

I made a fall Want To-Do List today. This weather made me feel really energetic, like I want to tackle all sorts of stuff so I thought I'd write it on here. Do we want to try goals like we did in August? I thought that was a great idea!

Fall To-Do's
1. Run a 5k
2. Find a fall perfume (this just sounds fun)
3. Fix up my yard
4. Fall decorations for my house
5. Smores party (this isn't healthy but it sounds fun)
6. Fall soundtrack (I'm trying to discover new music I like and I thought this would be a good way to document it)
7. Book Club (I think I've found one to join starting next Sunday)
8. Fall wardrobe (I want to try out some new looks thanks to Pinterest)
9. Clean out closets/organize closets
10. New Fall recipes (Pumpkin? Yes!)
11. Fall flower pots
12. Paint front door
13. Finish refinishing dish cabinet
