Yesterday was a long day but was productive so I'll just move on past that, haha.
Went to Zumba this morning. It was great! I'm about to go fall decor shopping at Pier1 and then meet Megan and Betsy to go to the fair and then tonight is the last bout of the season for roller derby. Busy day! I am limiting myself to only one thing at the fair. It's been so long since I've been to the state fair so I have no idea what I will try. I'm excited though!
Happy Saturday!

Thursday
Long day. I didn't get home until 8. Lunch was provided, so of course I ate crap. I didn't track today because it was too crazy. James did make cauliflower bisque for dinner, which was awesome as always!
I'm loving the weather!!!

Dinner: Louie's (Melissa gets back into town tonight so I'm going out with her and then meeting Betsy to celebrate deleting boys out of our phones, haha) I will try to order light and limit myself to 3 drinks tonight. That may sound excessive but tonight is a night of celebration!

Wednesday
Well I got my first interview today! Ashville North Carolina. Is this where you went on your trip??? I can't remember.
Here's my food. I'm a bit low on calories though. I know I will probably have a snack/dessert though. Berries? Cream cheese? Not sure, but will make sure it is low carb. Going to walk on the treadmill after dinner.
I'm doing better today. I think planning out all of my food ahead of time made it less stressful. I'm going to try to do this more often! I feel much better about things today.
Hope things get worked out with the loan. I'm sure the current economy doesn't make it easy to start up stuff in the eyes of the bank, but I know you will make it work!

Food Log (hopefully it worked, if it didn't let me know and I'll try again)
Breakfast: Instant Oatmeal
Lunch: Tuna on hamburger bun, apple & cheese
Dinner: Somewhere w/Sarah: Went to Stella for Italian. We had elderberry spritzers which were delicious. Shared some brushcetta and then I had the broccoli and chicken risotto. It was so good!
Activity: Weights and elliptical/treadmill - No workout. Went with Megan at 10:20 to watch the Warrior Movie.
I'm so glad the cooler weather is coming back. I think it makes me happier. I've been in a funk too. I think part of it is the job and having no friends here. I'm hoping it will get better. If it doesn't then I'm just looking at it as a way to make me focus on Skookum and really get it off the ground. We hit a snag with our loan and SBA because of all of the things they were wanting (life insurance to be appointed to them, 10% paid at closing, lien on my house and car) so I'm going to talk to Lynn on Friday at Payne County Bank. He sounded pretty optimistic on the phone. If that one doesn't pan out we are just going to start catering and I'll probably get a second job if need be. But Skookum will happen!!! I'm going to trademark the name on Friday as well or sooner if I can make it to the capital sooner.

Tuesday
Today has been one of those days where I obsessively check my email without result. Ever do that? My board scores should have been out 2 days ago, yet still, no email. Poop.
I've decided that rotations where I end up eating lung by myself make me lonely and somewhat miserable. I hate that feeling. At least I told myself "no" to the huge, home-made cinnamon rolls and other goodies in the cafeteria....since my mind certainly was trying to entertain the idea. I really just hate the feeling of "no one would even notice if I didn't return after lunch"...I just feel kind of "there" this week. I'm not working with the residents this week, so no one really keeps tabs on me. I basically just sit in a dark room and watch a tech do ultrasounds all day...and sometimes they talk to me (but mostly I end up reading Harry Potter on my iPad because I'm not getting anything out of it). Anyway, not trying to Boo-Hoo or anything. It's just turning into one of those weeks.

I had to force myself to workout, but I did. I'm gonna hurt too--curse you lunges!
I'm in a funk, but it could be worse. At least there isn't a stash of cupcakes in my house--they would've been ravaged this evening. If the worst I could do is a mini dish of ice cream, then good. Moose Tracks is officially gone--thank goodness. (James finished it off....I promise my portion was tiny, haha!)
I'm going to go and plan out tomorrow's meals to try and make tomorrow more controlled.

Monday
Boring day. Got done early and went grocery shopping. I really enjoy grocery shopping without James, haha. He rushes through it and we always spend more when we are together.
Anyway, plan on doing cardio this evening after dinner. I don't have to get up early this week, so it is easier to fit stuff in.

Monday the 12th
Breakfast: 1 c. special K, 1/2 skim milk, 1 c. raspberries and strawberries
Lunch: Tuna on a hamburger bun, yogurt, apple and cheese
Dinner: Amy's light and lean black bean enchiladas and hummus w/broccoli and carrots (and some leftover chips and salsa, it's all gone though!!! woohoo)
Activity: Spin class!!! (Actually made it this morning) and I will either do Jillian or run this evening. Probably run although I wish it wasn't going to be so hot today.
Went and did 30 really good minutes on the elliptical and then walked 2 and ran 11 and then walked 2. I feel pretty good. My knees are starting to feel like some pressure is building up so maybe I need to start incorporating some yoga in.
My goal for this week is to get all of my Water in. I'm going to shoot for 80 oz. a day.
(X) (X) (X) (X) (X) = 5 16oz. bottles
Day 1 of the water challenge was successful! I think working out really helps me to get my water in for the day.

Sunday
Breakfast: Slept past it
Lunch: Turkey burger and sliced cheese
Dinner: Amy's Light Veggie lasagna
Sorry for not posting yesterday. I got up early and did some yard work and then did a zumba-thon for Susan G. Komen for 2 hours. Man, that was awesome!!! I'm feeling it a little today but it was so much fun that the time just flew by while we were dancing.
I then went and did more yard work to get ready for Betsy and Megan to come over and grill out. We had turkey burgers, grilled sweet potato wedges, grilled asparagus and I made another flourless chocolate cake. We had such a great time! We went and played pool til 2 so I am pretty wiped today but it has been a great weekend.
I got some awesome new clothes on Friday night at the outlet. Mostly stuff for work and to wear to 2 weddings coming up. That's at least how I justified buying the dress (and that I can wear it to work). I will post the picture. You need to come up on a free weekend and we can shop away!!!
To Do List:
1. Laundry
2. Make meal plan for the week
3. Grocery shop
4. Run - not going to get accomplished. I will make it to cycling in the morning!!!! I will force myself!
5. Do dishes
6. Go look at Fall decorations
7. Bank Reconciliation
8. Take out trash
Lunch: Turkey burger and sliced cheese

So I am thinking about starting to track my food on the app and then posting the link on here. I feel like tracking in two places is too tedious and actually makes me do it less. I am still going to post here every day, but throughout the day I will use FatSecret to track my food and then post the final product here. Thoughts?
I have been motivating myself to get back on the exercise train today. I need to find a good show or series on NetFlix that I'm only allowed to watch on the treadmill. I've also made a strength training workout schedule.
For the strength training I will be using this type of method: http://bodyforlife.com/downloads/exercise_guide.pdf
"Select one exercise and conduct five sets with it, starting with a set of 12 reps, then increasing the weight and doing 10 reps, adding more weight and doing 8 reps, adding more weight for 6 reps. Then reduce the weight and do 12 reps. Immediately perform another set of 12 reps for that muscle group using the second selected exercise. For each muscle group, rest for one minute between the first four sets. Then complete the final two sets with no rest in between, wait two minutes before moving on to your next muscle group."
Then for cardio, you just do intervals of some type for 20mins.
